Editing in Writing

Editing is a way to make a perfect writing, before the text publishes in media. Editing means a process of correcting a text by deleting, inserting, and copying letters, words, sentences or paragraphs. Someone who editing the text is called an editor. An editor has the freedom to remove entire sentences or rewrite entire paragraphs by review and change your text with the intent to improve the flow and overall quality of your writing. A good editor will correct any obvious errors they come across, but their main goal is to use their expertise and intuition to ensure the document makes sense, cut down on wordiness, and clarify any ambiguity. Usually, editing text uses for publishing  newspapers, magazines, or the web.

To make a good writing, an editor must follow these rules. First, an editor must check the spelling, grammatically and punctuation such as typo, wrong punctuation or incorrect grammar in the text. An editor must be know how to correct and use exactly grammar in text. Second, an editor selecting the exactly word in a text. If there is a word inappropriate in the text, the editor allows to transfer the word. Third, make sure the target text match with source text. In this roles, an editor have to knows that the the information or purpose from target the text was correct and ready to publish. And an editor must have a good communication with the writer, because an editor cannot advise the text without permission of the writer. 

            But, an editor have to avoid these way. First, Avoid Using Grammar Expletives such as Grammar expletives are literary constructions that begin with the words it, here, or there because When it, here, and there refer to nouns later in the sentence or – worse – to something unnamed, they weaken your writing by shifting emphasis away from the true drivers of your sentences. Second, adding the text without permission the author, because it make the text unsure. Third, avoid to disribute the relate book content, because it is corporate sceret. So, an editor must be careful to correct the word and please checking before.
